Location

TEC's office can be found at the East end of the First Floor of the Portland Building, next to room C50. Here we plan out your events, run the company, and get to know each other better. If you would like to come and talk to us in person we recommend that you call ahead and check that there‘s someone in the office (our number is 0115 84 68720). If not then we‘ll be happy to get back to you and arrange a convenient time to meet you. You‘re always welcome to visit unannounced, but the office is not always open (we have lectures to go to too!). Directions are provided in the “Find Us” tab.

Since sometimes people have trouble finding our office below we have some directions. Remember, call us (on 0115 8468720) before visiting to check we are in.

The easiest way to find us is to go through the main front door of the Portland Building (the one facing the lake) and then immediatly turn around and walk up the stairs. On the first floor turn right and walk along the corridor. At the end there are some double doors straight ahead of you, go through them and continue until just before the next set of double doors. We are through the door on your right.

Alternatively if you enter through the glass doors at the rear of the building, between Blackwell Books and Natwest, you just need to walk straight on through the area joining the two sides of the building with seating around the sides, turning left immediatly before the stairs, then as before walk along the corridor and go through the double doors straight ahead of you. Continue until just before the next set of double doors. We are through the door on your right.
